IS large, but not as much space as imagined. If make a trip a month she serves as will not fit 2 pairs of shoes inside and some more pieces clothes. The volume is very decent. I’m enough for a 3-4days hike or for a commando nv 7-10 days. The lower compartment (type for shoes or wet) is isolated completely from the main department-a large plus, and has a double-sided zipper. Very convenient entrances to the compartments. And they are all very roomy. The main department is also a double-sided zipper. Opens around the perimeter like a suitcase, easy to put and look for things, not to push from above, here is a mesh pocket for laptop/tablet/documents directly to the compacted back. In the back i do not know what, probably type of cardboard. Latches on the chest and on the waist belt, of course, are not reinforced concrete, but at first glance, cause confidence.
