They are lighter and stronger the the steel versions and even compared to much of the aluminium types.

Excellent quality. I took as an alternative to regular steel hooks. Complete with three aluminum arcs (changed regular fiberglass. Took from other sellers at the best price) allowed to reduce the weight of the tent by 750 gr. The cost was about 1800 rubles. It suited me, but everyone decides himself). I recommend the product and the seller.
